Snuggly tent

We have a severely disabled child who suffers from insomnia and a fear of being alone at night. The tent has absolutely changed bedtime for him. He now sleeps through the night and is thrilled to spend time in his tent by himself. We absolutely recommend this bed for children with sleeping disorders and autism. It’s extremely well made and very easy to put together. It represents excellent value.

Brilliant sleeping pod tent

My daughter loves this and it has ended our co-sleeping issues.
She is now able to feel safe to sleep in her own bed.
Highly recommend

Great concept - if it wasnt so cheaply made.

The idea of a blackout tent like this is great, and it really blacked out, even in broad daylight! Prefer to have the vents at each end open though to keep air circulating, tent is still blacked out with blinds shut so that's not an issue, not sure how breathable the tent is with everything shut??
Now for the cheaply made issues, bit of a faff to put together, and I'm competent enough at things like this, this definitely not a travel tent - there would just be too much time wasted assembling and disassembling (for travel I can highly recommend 'safe place beds', expensive, but brilliant!).
This was bought for our daughter who has a few complex needs, it was bought as something to stay up permanently and keep our daughter enclosed at night, it is the only way she will go down and she cant sleep in open bed. She moves a lot in her sleep and the first night rolled off bed and the structure of the tent is not strong enough to stop this happening, so she rolled onto floor taking tent with her and breaking the poles. She has a 'bed guard' now and this has take care of that, but she has still managed to break several poles since then and I'm just now about to order my third set of replacement poles - these cant be bought separately and have to be bought as full set of poles, even though it is always the long set for the arch that she breaks, never the shorter longitudinal ones. So if anyone needs any of the shorter ones, I have 6 spare and soon to have 9!
The poles are cheap rubbish and too thin, they are also very hard to get into the pocket when assembling, I find sitting the end on a teaspoon and lifting/sliding it in works for me. Some kind of 'finger pull' on the end of the last pole to help with fitting into pocket would be great
That inst much of an issue now though as all 3 pockets have burst with the poles poking though, tent is now 14months in use, but first one popped through after month or so, I have small bits of thin plywood now sitting under the mattress where the poles are to stop them falling to floor and to try and keep some kind of shape to the tent.
If they can make the pockets for the poles stringer, and the poles themselves stronger, this would be a great sleep system!

Hard to set up but good once it is

Had a few nights in this now. It was a right faff to set up- it took me an hour partly because of the limited space I have, partly because the tension on the poles and fabric was so great that I had to almost poke holes in my thumbs to get them in. But once it was up and everything was put back it was lovely. Couldn't see my own had in front of my face at night. Making the bed is obviously more difficult but apart from that top job. I suspect with two people and a less cramped room you wouldn't have the same issue.
